The working principle of the HT11 series mechanical shearing machine is as follows:
The motor drives the pulley and gear transmission system to rotate, converting electrical energy into mechanical energy. This drives the eccentric shaft (crankshaft) to perform reciprocating motion, thereby driving the upper blade to move up and down.
Upper and Lower Blades: The upper blade is fixed on the slider (moving blade), and the lower blade is fixed on the workbench (fixed blade). The two form a certain shear angle (usually 1°–6°) and blade clearance (adjustable according to material thickness).
Material Positioning: The material to be cut is placed on the workbench and fixed by the backgauge (material positioning device) and pressure foot to ensure cutting accuracy and prevent movement during shearing.
When the slider drives the upper blade to move downward, the pressure foot first presses the material tightly.
As the upper blade continues to descend, it contacts the material and applies shear force. When the stress exceeds the ultimate shear strength of the material, the material is cut along the blade edge.
After the shearing is completed, the slider drives the upper blade to return to the initial position, and the pressure foot releases the material, completing a working cycle.
The blade clearance is adjusted according to the thickness and material of the workpiece (e.g., steel, aluminum, etc.). Proper clearance ensures smooth cutting, reduces blade wear, and avoids material deformation.
Equipped with safety devices such as light curtains, protective covers, and emergency stop buttons to prevent accidental contact with moving parts and ensure operator safety.
Driven by mechanical transmission, suitable for medium-thickness plate shearing (typically ≤16mm).
Simple structure, low maintenance costs, but lower efficiency compared to hydraulic shearing machines for thick plates.
Commonly used in sheet metal processing, metal fabrication, and other industries.
